Privacy Policy
What personal data we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
1. Who is responsible for your data

2. What we collect
What you give us
- Account details — your name, email address and password. The password is stored as a hash; we cannot read it.
- Workspace details — your organisation or workspace name, the people you invite, and their roles.
- What you tell us during sign-up — the role, industry or institution you select, so the product can be set up sensibly for you.
- Your work — the designs, files and comments you create. We treat these as confidential.
- What you write to support — the content of messages you send us.
What we record automatically
- Technical data — browser, device type and pages visited, to keep the service working.
- Security records — sign-in events and significant actions, kept as an audit trail. Your IP address is stored only as a one-way hash, never in the clear.
What we deliberately do not collect
Card numbers. Payments are handled entirely by our payment provider. Card details are entered on their systems, not ours, and never reach our servers. We keep only what the provider tells us afterwards: an amount, a status, and a reference.
3. Why we use it
- To give you the service and keep your work available to you — this is performing our contract.
- To take payment and keep records of it — our contract, and our legal obligation to keep accounts.
- To keep accounts secure and investigate misuse — our legitimate interest in a safe service.
- To send service messages you need: verification, billing and security notices. These are not marketing and you cannot opt out of them while you hold an account.
- To send marketing, only if you have asked for it. Every such message has an unsubscribe link.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your designs to train AI models.
4. Who else sees it
Only those who must, and only for what they do for us:
- Payment providers, to take and confirm payments.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers, who store the data that runs the service.
- Email delivery, to send the messages described above.
- People you share with — anyone you invite to a workspace or send a share link to sees the work you shared with them. That disclosure is your choice, not ours.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
5. Where it is kept, and for how long
Data is stored on servers used by our hosting provider. Where a provider operates outside India, your data may be processed there under that provider’s own safeguards.
- Your account and work — kept while your account is open.
- After you close an account — deleted or anonymised within 90 days, except what we must keep.
- Payment and tax records — kept as long as Indian tax law requires, currently eight years.
- Security and audit records — kept up to two years.
6. Keeping it safe
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are hashed. Provider secrets are encrypted at rest. Access is limited by role, and significant actions are written to a tamper-evident audit trail. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise — if a breach affects you, we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
7. What you can ask us to do
You may ask us to: show you the personal data we hold about you; correct it; delete it; give you a copy in a portable form; or stop using it for a particular purpose. You may withdraw consent for marketing at any time.
Write to kanvixo@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm who you are first, so that nobody else can make a request in your name.
8. Cookies
We use only what the service needs to work: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a small amount of browser storage that remembers preferences such as light or dark appearance. There is no advertising or cross-site tracking cookie. Blocking the session cookie will stop you being able to sign in.
9. Children
The service is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect their data; if we learn we have, we delete it.
10. Grievances
If you are unhappy with how your data has been handled, contact our grievance officer, at kanvixo@gmail.com. We acknowledge within 48 hours and aim to resolve within 30 days.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last reviewed; significant changes are notified to account holders.
